INSiGHT Scans

INSiGHT scans are the foundational element of our care at The Living Well. They allow us to fully customize and personalize care for your child, as well as continuously track and monitor change and improvement as care progresses! 

 

Ensuring your child's nervous system is functioning optimally is vital for their overall health and development. The brain and nervous system operate as the 'master control system' of every function of the entire body. If the brain and nervous system are locked into a stress response (this is called subluxation) then no other system of the body can work as it was designed to. For babies this often looks like colic or struggles with eating, sleeping and pooping. For toddlers, preteens and young adults it often looks like immune struggles, focus struggles, digestive issues, emotional dysregulation and anxiety.

 

The INSiGHT scans consist of three separate scans that provide a comprehensive evaluation of your child's overall neurological health. All scans are gentle, non-invasive and medical grade.

 

Surface EMG

• This scan measures muscle tension and energy patterns.

 

Thermography 

• Thermography measures how deep the stress has gone into your nervous system

 

Heart Rate Variability 

• HRV assesses the balance between the sympathetic (this is the 'gas pedal' of the nervous system) and parasympathetic (this is the 'brake pedal') nervous systems, giving insights into your child's ability to handle stress and maintain homeostasis on a daily basis.

 

These scans provide a detailed view of your child's neurological health, allowing for personalized chiropractic care plans that address specific needs and promote overall well-being.
